What is tactical work?
Tactical work is a provision of Field Marketing which allows the 'client' to market their brand and / or establish how well their brand is doing within the market place. A person is employed to conduct activities such as leafleting direct to potential customers, merchandising point of sale stands and demonstrating a new product in-store, to name but a few.
Who generally conducts Tactical work?
Tactical work is completed by people from varied backgrounds; homemakers, students and professionals alike. Many look upon Tactical activities as being their main source of income and others that prefer to work part-time to earn extra money. There is no contractual obligation to accept work when offered. Payment for activities is very competitive and varies dependent on what the activity involves.
What are the criteria for tactical work?
Tactical staff must have a National Insurance number. They must also meet the Home Office's eligibility requirements to work in the United Kingdom.
How will I be employed?
Tactical work is offered on an activity-by-activity basis. It can be as short as a single 15 minute session, a half day session, or 2 to 3 full days work. It can cover any of the activities described above. In essence, you are a temporary employee. You would be employed for the one activity and are a PAYE employee. Beyond the activity, no ongoing employment is implied or guaranteed.
Important Notes
Registration with Field Recruit is not a guarantee of an offer of work. It merely confirms that you have been cleared to be considered for work. This is then subject to work being available in the area that you reside and that you meet the skill set requirements. At no point will you become a permanent employee of infinite Group.
